According to Reuters, Raphael Bostic, president of the Atlanta Federal Reserve branch, reaffirmed.
On Thursday that inflation is the biggest headwind facing the US economy and that the Federal Reserve’s policymakers are still committed to fighting it.
Bostic continued, “I appreciate the latest data that show signs of easing price pressures, but there is still much work to be done.
The Fed’s favoured measure of inflation was running at a 5.5% annual rate, according to the most recent data.
