According to Reuters, a monthly survey done by Citi and YouGov revealed on Wednesday that the British public’s inflation forecasts for the next 12 months fell to 5.7% in December from 6.1% in the previous survey.
The survey also revealed that public inflation forecasts for the next 5-10 years have dropped to 3.6% from 3.9% previously.
Finally, Citi stated that the most recent studies indicate a lowering chance of more embedded inflation through 2023.
