In its most recent report, the Bundesbank, Germany’s central bank, stated that “a recession is now projected for Germany in 2023.
But the decline is not thought to be substantial. predicts a 0.5% decline in GDP growth from the previous 2.4% in 2023. predicts 1.7% GDP growth in 2024 compared to 1.8% in the prior year.
predicts inflation to be 7.2% in 2023, up from 4.5% in 2018. estimates 4.1% inflation for 2024, up from 2.6% in 2018.
