China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) stated in a statement released on Tuesday that the country’s estimate of 2021 gross domestic product (GDP) growth has been changed from 8.1% to 8.4%.
Additionally, the GDP’s size was changed from 114.37 trillion yuan ($16.51 trillion) to 114.92 trillion yuan ($16.51 trillion).
According to the bureau’s final data, the services sector, which accounts for 53% of China’s GDP, grew by 8.5% in 2021 compared to the previous year.
