German factory orders fell dramatically in November, which may indicate that the industrial sector revival is losing steam.
According to the most recent data released by the Federal Statistics Office on Friday, contracts for items labelled “Made in Germany” decreased by 5.3% over the course of the month, against expectations of -0.5% and 0.8%.
German industrial orders for the reporting month were down 11.0% on an annualized basis, against expectations of -7.0% and -3.2%.
